what is the cheapest way to lower my vt comm without having to cut the springs
please help me
I had to raise my Vt up as it was way too low when i brought it, I put the springs on ebay and sold them for $100.
I suggest you either buy them yourself from repco or Supa cheap or look on Ebay. If you are mechanically minded you can fit them yourself I watched it done and its not that hard.
I used King springs front and back.
If you cant fit them yourself you will have to get it done by a mechanic
Good luck
kazz
thanks for the advice mate

Sick of paying too much for high performance brake pads? Want high performance and cold bite with low rotor wear?

lol any heavy items in the back! or fat asses.
But seriously try gumtree ive seen a couple of sets of superlow king springs for sale for around 50 bucks and just put then in your self. but be aware that its not like a live axsle the camber wear will get a lot worse and itl scrub out your centre rear tires. but your can get a camber kit later
Need a V8 or Turbo...!
its not legal to fit them to a car going on public roads.
Cutting your springs mate is a great idea.... to any idiot out there.
It affects the structural integrity of the spring, the only safe way to lower existing coils is to retemper them and reset them, only people knowing the material of the coil they are working wih can get them accurate enough most of the time. you have three options for your springs, aurora coils made in adelaide look them up, bit more expensive but really good quality, second option is kings which a lot of people go for but from my experiences I wont touch them or pedders, however pedders make coils and they make them cheap, whatever they dont make in their production lines they rebadge from other companies, they rebadge a lot of imported crap as well.
If you can afford to stick to quality springs for it, if you cant avoid granny grays at all costs. Fitting of the rear springs is a piece of cake, you may need to get a pro to do the front springs.
