    Default VX blinker cancellation

Can anyone give me info about the blinker cancellation on the VX's? My blinkers work fine, stalk appears fine, they only come on when I put them on and turn off ok, BUT they dont self cancel all the time. I have to manually flick them off.
Is the cancellation controlled by a plate/lug on the back of the steering wheel like the old VH/VK's etc, or is the cancellation electronic within the stalk?

There is a little finger on the switch that catches on the column that makes it flicks off. The switch assembly is very easy to lift out. Only one screw underneath the column holding the cowling on, then the switch lifts out when the two clips holding it in are opened apart. Somewhere here on the forum is a very detailed description how to do this.
