    Exclamation VT transmission problem?

hi guys well im a chick and have no bloody idea! please help

so ive spent so much money on this damn car and its just one thing after the other!

    its a 97 VT exec.

so i had a split hose from the radiator to the engine which just got replaced. the car feels jerky when driving and the revs are jumping. i put my foot down to take off and have higher revs than normal but the speed is gradual. seems like the car is rough changing gears when driving.

ive checked the trans fluid, oil and coolant and they are fine.

does this sound familiar? its going to a trans place on monday but i just wanted to get an idea of what it might be.. thanks heaps.

Doesnt sound good. You could be up for an expensive rebuild. It might be cheaper to get a second hand trans from the wreckers fitted to your car if your trans is cactus.

Are you sure? I wouldnt be trusting a holden dealership with auto trans issues, if you havent already, take it to a reputable trasmission shop that specialises in autos for a second opinion.

bahaha i wouldnt even know how to do a burnout lol

i took it to a transmission place and the guy was great he got in there and had a good look.
so the problem was i had a crack between my trans fluid and my coolant and they were mixing hence the milky shit in my radiator.
so he replaced the radiator and fixed my trans now shes running well..

although.. he seems to think there might be a hole in the head.. why would he think that? apparently there is air getting into my radiator. but he also wants to replace the hoses, could one of these have a hole on it? i have done the head before and had to get a total engine recon and when that happened the car overheated several times on the trip home and smoked like a bandit.

when i dropped my car off at the mechanics the 1st time it was smoking but it hasnt overheated, can someone explain this to me thanks
