    Question putting alloytec engine in vt comm

    just wondering how hard would it be to put a alloytec engine in a vt commodore
    what do you s think to much work
    should i just drop another ecotech into the vt or do all the hard work and attempt to put a alloytec engine

    please help me make up my mind

    Just do an L67 conversion.

    Would be cheaper and with a few mods would shit all over an alloytech.

    Enough said.

    It was covered not long ago in another thread. Basically for the money you will pay to fit an Alloytec, you will never recoup the money in fuel. Also there are plenty of go-fast bits for the Ecotec, but limited number for the Alloytec.

    I reccon the best way to fit an alloytec to a vt would be to grab a crashed vz and swap everything...

    There are so many things that are different its not funny!
    Hot Red VX SS - 5.7L Gen3, Pacemaker tri-y's, Dual 2.5", 6 Speed, 3.47 LSD, 18" HSV Clubsport wheels
