Im trying to replace a faulty clock spring and cannot remove the main wiring loom/connector from it.
Ive tried to slide it off but does not move,Does it just slide off,or are their locking plastic tabs..pic's if possible please
If you haven't already solved this (or for anybody else looking for the same answer) you should see 2 yellow plastic parts on each side of the connector, the left side being much more obvious. Get a flat blade screw driver and push from right to left a few mm. When you see the left side start to protrude you can prise the screw driver into an opening you should now see (if pushed far enough). As you pry/pull out the yellow part to the left it will also want to unplug as there's a 'levering' mechanism, not just a locking mechanism. When you go to replace it you want to push on the connector from the back and the yellow section from left to right and it'll click back into place.
