Any ideas on price would be appreciated!!

Will post pics of interior tomorrow...had it for about a year, bought it for $5500 on road without LPG...
if you tidy the scratches & fix the dent you will get more for it,personally that is what i would do. it may cost a couple of hundred to fix depending where you go but,it will add alot more to it than it would cost to fix. as it is with all you have done & the fact it has lpg you should get your $5500 back easy enough,if not a little more. if the minor damage was fixed you may get up to $8000 to the right buyer. a set of mags always makes it look the part & always ups the price. hope this helps & good luck.
Also, I know this has absolutely nothing to do with Commodores but I couldn't help noticing the business advertised on your wagon. I'm actually in the process of starting a similar business here in WA and was wondering if I might be able to PM you a few questions to help me with a few things I'm curious about??

Yeah when you posted that you paid 5500 i was suprised i was expecting something a little more, I THINK wagon's are generraly more expensive the sedans in equal condition? IMO i would try advertising it for 6. Second though you said the motor and gearbox have 190 thousand, how much does the rest of the car have?
I have similar car...I bought it for $2800..Private
With 240 ks on the clock
How much on the clock????
If you want to sell it quickly problery ebay around $4500
But if you try differant sites you will get more but may take longer to sell
But on the other hand if someone realy likes your car they will pay $6500
The engine and auto have 189,000km's, the car itself 270,000km's...
I was looking at selling it and upgrading to a VZ wagon, not sure if this is a smart move or not.... I do like the VT, haven't even really decided to sell it yet, just seeing what my options might be and how much i would get for it. The gas system is brand new, only a month old, all the suspension work was done about 7weeks ago, runs pretty damn nicely, i get about 300-330km's from a tank of gas (49litres) and it costs me including the good old 4c discount $23max, $21 on a good day. Didn't get a chance to take interior pics but it's in good condition, one cigarette burn on the passenger seat (very small), other than that, no rips or tears of any kind, the roof lining is in perfect condition too....i screwed the seat pockets on so they don't ever fall off!![]()
Ha ha i sould screw the map pockets on to!!
When selling a car i think people realy look at the odometer...
More than how many kms the engine has done...As buyer think its hard to prove these km's
Wow roof lining still perfect????
Never seen that befor must of been redone at one stage??
If i were you i would keep it...
Just because the gas is new
Have you had any problems with the wagon???
How much did it cost for the gas??
Not sure if roof lining was redone, has a black stain or two but not peeling off or anything.... The actual odometer is based on the engine, so it says $189,xxx, took it out of the VX that i got the engine from...!
No problems with the car itself apart from radiator and a cracked rim the other week, obviously having the front end suspension all re-done, that was all based on a RWC and the fact all the bushes were completely stuffed!!!!
Gas was $2350, good deal!! Had a few tuning problems with it at first and the installer is a bit of an idiot but all in all a good system (Poilliauto converter, the ones they use in taxis, and a sprint gas donut tank)
Not quite sure how to RTA do it but Vicroads do note down the odometer when getting a RWC, don't think it matters if your doing it legit as when i changed over the engine i changed the engine number on the registration of the car so to Vicroads they now have the correct odometer reading for the new engine...
Having less km's on the odometer than the engine, don't know how that would go, if it's only lower because you changed the dash, don't think it matters if it's legit however if you have wound back the odometer, you may run into some trouble....
No i'm pretty sure it wouldn't work that way ??
Ok the engine and trans has done same as odometer....
But if this was the case people who buy Brand new engines...Can buy a brand new odometer with 0 km?????
......This is just my opinion pretty sure it wouldn't work that way?????
But I don't know how cars get onto revs by having a crash being repairable write.....Thats one way but revs have all these differant thing that cars can be recorded on?????
But after a few months after your pink slip has been done just do a revs check to make sure????
But in that case for some reson it might happen....I think it would be hard for your car to be taken off revs?????
If i were you.........I would change back to stock odometer...Than when you want to sell it put back the vx odometer......That way...Your car has low kms and nobody knows...Yet?????
yeah i thought the way it works is your odometer is bassed on your chassis or vin number, doesnt matter what u do u can rebuild everything on the car, and it could still have 250000km, then if u decided to swap chassis or vin number u might be able to get a odometer with lower k's
odometer should have nothing to do with the engine at all,
technicaly speaking cars should have a hour meter on the engine, to give a real idea about a cars condition
