new heater tap

g'day all i replaced my heater tap cos it was shagged, i took off the bottom radiator hose to get out as much old coolant as i could, i filled up the radiator and overflow, cracked the screw on the thermostat housing to let the air out, now the heater doesnt work and these cold mornings suck, any help greatly appreciated

Did you put the vacuum hose back on?

yeah i put all the hoses back on

Try undoing the heater hose at the tap and giving it a good flush out with the hose .
