Hey guys, Just wondering, Im up for a new head gasket on the bitch car, and Im just wondering how long it usually takes.. I know its a big job but yea. Also any rough prices if ya have anyCheers.
Go to the wreckers and by a new motor, it'll be cheaper lol
Nah do it yourself, not the hardest thing in the world, and cheaper than getting a new engine installed.

Mechanics usually charge around the $800 mark. The gasket isn't expensive, under $100.
Get a repair manual and do it yourself, if you follow the steps it is easy, I replaced one when I was 16.
Its not a hard job, just time intensive. All you will need, is head gasket, thread sealant, new rocker bolts (reusable ones are cheaper from any bolt place), and new head bolts (?). I may have forgotten something here.
EDIT: Oh yeah and get the heads machined flat.
