Car starts then dies

Hi all..

My girlfriend's car won't start (2000 vt v6 aclaim), well, it will... then it dies...

like you turn the key and it fires up then dies straight away, and just keeps doing it... any ideas on the problem? it was running fine up until this..

Have you checked for error codes? If its starting then stalling, Could be a blocked fuel filter or the pump is failing. As it starts then stalls, starving for fuel then dying.

I fixed the issue.. well.. i realised that the remote key wasn't actually locking the car or opening the boot or anything like that, so i had to manually lock/unlock the car doors, so i thought it may be the car isn't recognising the key anymore. Tried the spare key and it started.. ! all good now
