Bonnet struts

is $100 too much for re gasing of the bonnet struts?
is it worth paying or just get new ones?

new 1s on ebay go for as little as 28 bucks + postage mate so i would say yes

pretty sure i got a pair of new ones for just over $100.

A complete ripoff. I had mine regassed for $22 each. You can buy new one from Repco for around $45.

brand new with a 12month warranty. not sure who is quoting you re-gassing prices but I know where I would tell them to put the struts

Thanks for the ebay links; I just ordered a set. I've been going to do these for a while, sick of using the degreeser tin to hold the bonnet open.
