trac control off light stays on!

hey all, i have a vt series 2 acclaim and driving home just before my trac off light came on, at first i thought i accidentally hit the trac control button so i pushed it to turn trac back on but no luck, no matter how many times i push the button the trac off light remained on...anyway drove the car home turned it off gave it a couple minutes turned the key to accessories a couple times and then started the car and the light finally turned off and it was responding again to the button... got me kinda confused at the moment... is this a symptom that my abs module may be on its way out? however the abs light did not come on while driving... im really puzzled about this. has this happened to anyone before? sorry for typing such a long post.

Mine comes on very occasionally. restarting the engine always gets rid of it. l wouldn't worry about it unless it happens a lot.

Yeh same thing has happened to me trac off and abs light comes on
Alot of people says its the abs module
If you ever want to change abs module..A ebay seller sell reco ones for $150...On exchange basis..

had same thing happen trac light stayed on but noticed that both tail light bulbs had blown changed them and then trac light went off thought it was something with abs but not this time thank goodness!
