Hi Guys got a VT less than a week ago ran great first day second day just switched of doin 90 k down Salisbury highway handy.in peak hour. Wouldnt restart for about ten mins bu turned over fine then started and ran like a dream to days later same thing in the city but started i little later today swiched her of at the gym came back out wont start decided to start about an hour ago and drove home fine.
Noticed whenn i do crank her when she stops the little red fuel bowser light stays on as does engine light and when i turn the key the fuel gage drops to empty then shoots back up to its level ie half tank at the mo.
Any ideas?

crank angle sensor does not always log a code. but your symptoms sound like crank angle sensor .
next time it dies pour some cold water over sensor ( behind the big bottom pulley at front of enginbe)
and see if it starts straight away
