Hi guys. I want to fit a cruise control to my VT Executive Wagon, but i needs your help to sort a few things out.
1..Does the cruise control have to be out of a VT can i use a VX cruise control
2..Is there a Fitting manual available .If yes could you please send me one
Thanks bl2655
You will need to buy the indicator stalk with cruise control, the CC unit, cabling, wiring loom and brake switch and(if manual) clutch switch. I looked into doing it myself but it seems a fair bit of hassle imo. I'm 90% sure you can use a VT or VX unit and it won't make a difference but i know as a fact the executives do not come with the wiring loom. There is an instruction manual floating around somewhere on the forums but i think it was too big to post so someone will have to PM it to you![]()
did anyone find the instructional manual on installing the cruise control for VT/VX in the end
i bought a kit off the net but im unsure on how to wire it up and the rest
i did find on ebay that someone was selling a genuine kit with a manual... the part number is 92145711
if anyone has it if they can PM me
Im also interested in fitting factory cruise to my VT S1 exec.
Is it too hard to run new wiring for the loom that isn't already there?
My old S2 Exec had factory cruise, so this leads me to believe that exec's DID have the wiring in place... can anyone clarify?
Cheers.
