vy engine in vt . but makes a squeaking noise

got a vy engine put in my vt and started driving all was good then when i went over 40km'h it started to make a squeaking noise any ideas on why it may be doing that?

Your going to have to give us more info than that.
Does it only make the noise at speed?
Does it make it if the revs are raised while stopped and in Park?
My guess is the belts squeaking cos they had coolant splashed on them? Spray them with WD40 or similar and if that was the problem it will stop.

squeaking, ;you would think belts unless its coming from somewhere else??

i was thinking maybe a pully?yes it only happens when driving at 40kmph or faster . also i went to try out the engine and just before it got to 80kmph the whole ca seemed like it was going to die followed by a knocking sound from the engine/trans ??

Do you know what type of damage the donor car was subject to eg. rollover and possible oil starvation or possibly a frontal impact to the pulleys/accessory drive or pushed the engine and trans back against the tailshaft?

not to sure on what type of wreck it was out of?also it seems to be a little laggy. as in while driving it seems to be struggling occasionally to get the speed up

problem turned out to be faulty leads so nothing major
