Vx BCM Upgrade
I want to upgrade my vx mid bcm to a vt high bcm
I know it needs to be linked my mates got a scanner to do it with

You will also need the keys that go with that BCM, or you need to program some new keys.

yes i know i need the key heads
just want to know if it will plug in and work with out changing wiring
Hi jip no you cant just swap the bcm the wiring loom is different the low and mid you are able to but high and lux are different size connectors so it will you would have to change the whole loom over to a berlina,calais loom and yes you will have to program the keys to it and bcm linked to pcm unless you have a chip with no security. What kind of scanner does your mate have you will need a tech 2 or another well know scanner.
