New Headunit - Ideas for space under head unit

Hi all, going to be putting my new headunit in the VT soon and as many threads have said 'there is alot of space underneath it'.

I was wondering what ideas people have of what to do with the space? few i have
- Leave open and put things in
- cover with a piece of plastic the same as the rest of the car
- cover that gives off a mirror reflection
- possible holden badge or something on a cover
- GPS? only worry is it is a bit low LOL
- Fill it with blinding LED's? HAHA

Any thoughts guys? Open open for suggestions, except for a DVD player or some usless crap like that, want it to look nice =)

I like either the standard pocket. Or one option that I'm looking at myself, is a single DIN triple 52mm gauge holder.

I just have space under mine, i put a bit of a rubber mat in it and its great for my phone and all that crap.

I've got a JVC dvdplayer / JVC Screen and it looks very neat. You say you want suggestions except for a DVD player or some usless crap like that, but then your thinking about putting leds or a holden badge there? You have a very strange opinion on whats useful and whats crap...
If you can't afford another unit or must have a single DINN that looks ok, then you can get a tray from any car shop (eg.autobahn) for about $10 that will fill the gap and not look too cheap.

ive got a pocket from on old eb falcon i think below mine. Old mate from work pulled it off a falcon we had and said put it in your car and it actually fits like a treat

i have a pocket under my cd player... along with the one above the ciggerette lighter! i dont even use any of them hahhaa

can someone post a link about the gauges that could go there.. im trying to spice the interior up and i think that might help

Gauge face could be useful, depending on mods to ur car. Wouldn't do it to my car, as its stock.

Had an Air/Fuel ratio gauge and a trans temp gauge. Left enough room for another.
