Default T5 in an auto VT

    Hey guys,

I'm in the process of getting all the parts that i need to convert my auto VT to manual T5(out of VN-VS(S1) .
    So far I have:
    - ordered the wiring and memcal to change it from auto to manual so that it doesnt go into "Limp home mode"
    - bought VP tailshaft, X-member and box
    - got a VP pedal box which i am going to have to modify to fit in my VT ( looking like a bit of a pain in the ass to do but nothing a welder and grinder cant fix )
-early VS flywheel to suit ecotec

I am also having trouble deciding wether to go full ceramic clutch or cussion button? I am going to be turboing it later this year so dunno which one would be better ....

Any advice or ideas from you guys would be appreciated!
    Cheers

Well started conversion on the weekend, changed rear main then fitted flywheel + clutch, manual starter motor. Used the standard gearbox cross member but had to get a T400 gearbox mount to suit the T5. All I have to do now is wait for the tailshaft to get made I'm putting the locker in during the week so it's all ready when I get it back. Also figured out the wiring besides the speed sensor so might not have a speedo for a while. Can't wait to drive it!!!

Well just to let people know, conversion is all done and car is out the shed and running! Stoked with the difference in power and much more responsive. All I need to do now is put together my two jaycar speedo corrector kit and I will have a speedo haha
