new shocks for replacing rear springs?

just wondering iv got a stock VX SII acclaim and was wondering if i had to technically replace the shocks to a shorter one if i was to drop 20 - 30 mm with either FE2 springs or King springs "low"...... any help or advice would be great. Also would a camber kit be necessary?

Ive got King spring SL's in my VT just with the stock shocks. Seems ok, although if you put lowered shocks in it will increase the quality of your ride apparently. A camber kit is probably recommended as well.

how much did it drop? any photos of it mate? and what size wheels do you have? did u have to cable tie it in? because realistically speaking couldnt your springs just fall out if you hit a hard bump?
