    Default Sub and amp fuse!

    in my fuse box under the steering wheel there is a sub and amp slot that is empty, i no have a 12" sub and a 2 channel amp in my car, should i get a fuse for it? or does it not matter?

    I assume that slot is for the factory sub that came in calais. Your subs and amp will be run off their own wiring direct to the battery, with a seperate fuse. They don't use the factory wiring.

    So no, you don't need a fuse for it

    yes i would still use an amp kit if your going to run a high powered amp.

    its all wired up and running fine has been for a good 4 months or some, i was just wondering if i needed to get the fuse but doesnt sound like it. thanks
