It'll be fine if ratio is same.

how much did you get one for? and were there any hassles?
thanks, i got a hold of a complete rear IRS cradle with the LSD from a series 2 vx S pac for $400.
was a bit of a pain to get it in as i had to replace my metal brakeline from front to back but other than that it wasnt that bad to do, just make sure you give yourself a few days to get it done and dont rush it.
hmm i have a series 2 s pack... so all i need isthe actual diff and it will bolt on... i like!
wouldnt you already have the LSD then? or is it an open centre 3.08?
i thought so cause when you launch it the car kicks sides ways.. also does dualy's. but there is no tag saying lsd and when in the air only one wheel spins??
could it just be worn out?? cause it does launch fairly half(for an ecotec anyway)
oh ok then, what ratio does it say on the diff housing? my standard 3:08.1 would sometimes do dualies but very rarely.
i'm sure my mate's vx S2 Spac has the same lsd i just put in mine and its not a super6 model.
depends how you have treated it, i'd say it could be a bit worn if you have been doing hard launches alot, best off to take it to a mechanic and have it checked.
