hi,
my brake is sticking on the drivers side rear wheel ( but only on the outer side brake pad, the inner side is fine). the pad wore and started to cut into the brake disc. so i changed my calapa, pads and discs. but 2 months later im am faced with the same problem. i was told it must of been a faulty calapa so did the same process again. but now ithas done it again???? what shud i do next ???? any advise wud B great ...
flush and bleed your brake system. if there is an air bubble or old thick oil it will cause the problem.
like the other blokes say a flush may do the job but if you have a blockage it may not clear when flushed. if you disconnect the brake lines & blow high pressure air through each line to ensure they are clear, reconnect, fill rebleed etc & see how you go. the fact its happened twice after replacing the caliper only leaves the possibilty of a line blockage somewhere. the chances of having two dud calipers is possible but a little unlikely
