Heat area with a hairdryer and use some thin fishing line pulling along the back of it in a sawing motion.Use wax/grease remover to get sticky crap off.

If u can find high tensile 'piano wire' it'll do the same and it wont need heating. Go slowly when you are sawing the back of the badge. Thin fishing wire works great too.
