Kings springs

hey all just a quick one, if i was to buy front king springs that are to suit a VR-VS V6, would they be ok for a VX 5.7? The catalogue says there is one type of spring for the V6 and one for the V8, but im sure ive heard of people using V6 ones on V8 cars and visa versa. Thanks.

v6 springs in a v8 will cause the car to sit slightly lower than the springs are meant to,for example v6 SL are ultra low in a v8. as for what your wanting to do,they might sit really low with the vx being heavier than a vr v6

easiest thing to do , would be to grab the numbers off the springs then, check them against the VX catalogue numbers

thanks fellas, i think Adds pretty much answered my question, Lance yeh ive had a look at it but as i said its just that ive heard of people mixing and matching so was just curious what would happen if i was to do it......thanks again guys.

what about struts/shocks, say i wanted to put VZ struts from a V6 car into my VX 5.7, would that be a problem?
