Default Opinions please on VT Supercharged exhaust

Hi felllas, I have the stock standard SV6 exhaust, twins into one from the catback, just wondering will i get a good sounding note if i did take off the muffler near the tip at the end? or will it sound just plain shithouse? any feedback appreciated

is it twin up till the diff, then single?

if it is- they dont sound too bad with rear muffler off, i did it with mine(vt super6, stock exhaust, twin right thru till diff then single) it was still fairly quiet. not as droney as the single ecotec exhaust with no rear muffler. guess cause theres two center mufflers.. but it dont sound like a v8 but sound's ok, bit of a note/noise and still quiet enough not to feel like a tool.. if ya just take off the rear muffler and drive it for a little bit it'll give ya an idea on what it sounds like befor ya go cutting things up...

if its not the same 'twin thru till diff' i guess i types all this for nothing

Ive got extractors running, twin high flow cat running twin 2.5" all the way through (with a cross over just after cats) though to the muffler, then twin tips, sounds nice =]

Nice and deep when cruzin or on idle, nice and loud when ya give it some

ha, i had the same system in an x-force and it sounded like absolute poo. i reckon my mum could squeez out a better note from her ass...... x-force is the cheapest around so guess ya get what ya pay for...
were too embarrassed to drive it with the twin 2.5' so got rid of it and got a hsv one and pretty happy with that...
