How much oil?

Hi there, done a full service on my wifes 1999 vt acclaim S2.
Anyways how much oil does it take...got to 4.5 litres and hadn't reached the full...like 3 quarters.
So I put the full 5 litres in...checked again and it was over the full?...Gosh!!!!...so yeah.
Hope I haven't stuffed her car?.

it's not stuffed,
ENGINE OIL CAPACITY WITH FILTER...4.8 LITRES

AUTO DRY REFILL..................................7.9 LITRES

SERVICE REFILL......................................4.8 LITRES

COOLING SYSTEM...................................12 LITRES 50/50 MIX

BRAKE HYDRAULIC FLUID REFIL......... 0.616 LITRES

REAR AXLE/DIFF......................................1.7 LITRES

POWER STEERING.................................. 0.7 LITRES

assuming V6 3800 auto

HA HA!!! Didn't tell the misses, just jumped on here for the quick info on the sly...lol.
If something went wrong...was going to blame her..hehehe.
