VT II Executive keeps turning itself off

Hi All,

Just looking for a bit of direction in regards to my VT Executive. Recently the car has started turning itself off for no reason at all. I will be just driving normally and all of a sudden the engine stops and all the lights on the dash board come on. The car will then re-start straight away. I have taken it to my local mechanic and he completed a full service and could not find anything else wrong with it. He suggested changing the 'Crank Angle Sensor' and the 'Ignition Module' but he did not seem to confident that this would fix the problem.

I was wondering if anyone else has experienced the same issue and what the solution might be.

Thanks airforceone. From all the searching I have been doing that seems to be the likely culprit. Any idea what that might cost. The mechanic was not sure and is going to get back to me with a price...
