19"s on a VX

hey everyone!

does anyone run 19" rims on their cars? if you do, what problems have you had / are you having?

im after something like the advanti vienna's in black / chrome lip, but wanna make sure i have all the bases covered b4 i go ahead and fck anything up!!

19's will be sweet.. 20 inch rims are the ones you gotta be cautious about, like cracking the rim

i have 2 mates with 20's on there commy's ones a vt and the other a vy

i got 19s on my ss an its got super lows all round an i have had no probs the only thing i would suggest is a camber kit

.. i got 19s on mine with SSL Rear and SL Front no problems... when i have SSSL on front it scraped full lock but other then that was good as had to lift it due to having 4into1s like 50mm off the ground ahhaa! only thing you'll want as DLSHUB88 said is camber kit Trust does a worllllld of goodness! you do feel a bit more road bumps tho. and i run 235/35/R19 tyres

i got quoted $450 for lowering the suspension... lovells SL front & SSL rear... reckons it will lower it by about an inch or so from the factory FE set up ... does the price sound fair? im not after anything ridiculously low, just lower than normal!!!!

found the tyre placard, and it says 17" with the HSV symbol on it... so 19"s it is!!!!

ive seen quite a few 19" rims that might look good on the car like ...

plus a few others that i cant think of right now lol

camber kit... engineers report needed? worth the hassle if only using SL on the front?

cameron... just out of curiosity... did they have to get engineers reports to run the 20's? or do the sneaky sly with the tyre placard? lol

I got 245/35/19s on mine, Only thing is on full lock is it does scrape on the inside very lightly, might want a camber kit also. inside on the fronts scrub a little but not as bad as VTs
