Head deck and steering wheel!

i have put in a head deck in my VX and i have the steering wheel controls, is there anyway you can make them work with a after market head deck?

Ebay (search world wide).. i seen a guy has made up a modual that you wire into your deck which allows you to use your original steering wheel buttons.. seen it in use on a VX.. so have a look and i will also n drop a post again with the link when i find.. also heard it only works with Pioneer, Alpine and some other decks.. roughly was $30.00 cheaper then getting a infared setup done.

ohh this mods diff to that CAT one as the CAT one is setup via infared you press the button on your steering wheel .. it projects the signal to the reciever which then sends it to the head unit. the one iv seen is wired into the harness and the head unit itself.. bit more simple
