Have a look at the first pic on this how to , it shows how to remove the front bar . I think with the VT there are two screws behind the number plate How To Replace Radius Rod Bushes VT / VZ
there are three types of people in the world , those who can count and those who can't
they are a piece of cake dude, you could do it with your eyes closed, drunk as a skunk & one arm tied behind your back.
ok,on the left & right hand side of the vehicle you will have a couple of screws going into the front guard & guard liner, undo those. then with the bonnet lifted you will see some other screws going into the top of the front bar(in centre where grille section is) undo those. also behind the number plate sometimes screw will be there as well, but sometimes they arent for one reason or another.with all screws removed just gently pull away the left & right sections from the barslides that are attached to the front bar, after that the front bumper will just about fall off,if it hasnt already. with the front bumper removed you will see the front bumper reinforcement,if its undamaged just leave it there & put your new bumper on exactly the same as you puled it off. if it needs replacing there is 3 bolts/nuts either side undo those & the reinforcement will fall off as well. hope this make sense,it really is an easy job to do,like anything just take your time & think about what you are trying to do![]()
thanks for that guys.
taken the panel beater's like two weeks just to spray the damn thing. but i suppose i should be grateful as its only costing me two hundred bucks spray the bumper. now my mudflap is sitting on my wheel and sounds horrible when i turn left. is that hard to take off as well?
