Default VT Projector headlights, need help

Hi guys, pretty new to the Commodore scene

i'm looking at getting the new set of headlights for me VT and really like the Monaro style,

so, where would be the best place to buy a set of projector headlights, black housing, angle eyes type ?

    Ebay? Autobarn? Supercheap?

i really want a good quality set, not gonna leaks in the future, but don't wanna pay Holden price tho..

    any recommendation?

    Thanks in advance

    Cheers

Try Headlight & Heater in Abbotsford VIC (Melbourne metro) ph. 03 9419 1788. Check their website first at Headlight & Heater for price list and availability. I bought my pair of genuine WH series II Statesman International headlights from them in Jan '09 (same as V2 Monaro projector lamps but all chrome not black - see attached pic). Much cheaper than Holden and they sent them to me in Bathurst NSW at a reasonable cost.

The GM part numbers for the WHII Stato International lights are 92116917 RH & 92116918 LH. Not sure of the Monaro part numbers. Both WHII Stato Int. and V2 Monaro lights take H9 and H11 globes and they plug straight into the VT harness. If fitting either of these to a VT you need to do a minor wiring mod to make them legal for roadworthy - see also attached pdf document (previously posted by others on this forum).

No the VT lights are completely different shape. I used to have clear "altezza" lights on my VR, weren't genuine or projectors (Holden never made them for VR/VS) but they looked much better than standard lights.

Yeah I might do that, my current headlights must be dirty or something because they really cut the light off short.

My VR/VS lights were "Depo" brand which i bought on eBay back in 04 or 05, i assume they're still available. They suited the VR/VS well, unlike the rear Depo tail lamps IMO (i also fitted a set of these at the same time, but hated the look so put the standard ones back on). I was happy with the Depo headlights though. I put light-skinz (stick on protector film) on too so they didn't get stone chipped.
