    Default Steering Wheel Re-covering?

Is it possible to have your steering wheel re-covered once the stitching breaks away and it falls apart? Anyone know anyone who does this sorta thing? Our VU SS's wheel is completly shagged. Had one of those supercheap auto type covers over it when we bought it and we just planned to replace wheel coz it annoys the hell out of me driving with this big chunky thing on the wheel. But upon ringing Holden yesterday I was informed that it is no longer available and therfore Im unable to get a new genuine one :/

Yeah. Nothing. Heaps of just the standard wheels (which are still available through Holden) but no SS ones (they have the audio controls that come out and sit either side of the airbag module)

Can you swap the audio controls over? There is plenty of VT etc leather wheels on ebay, I just got a VT one new from holden about $500AU, on ebay a recovered one in whatever color around 275-350

Try a few motor trimmers, I get a few Classic Car magazines and in Melbourne a few motor trimmers mention in their ads that they recover and re-stich leather steering wheels.
One that I can remember off hand was 'Blackmans Motor Trimmers' in Richmond Victoria.
