dash cluster swap over, need help rather urgently please

so i pulled out my single window cluster, and put in a calais 3 window dash, started up the car, and it was all fine and everything, then it started beeping, and the traction control and airbag warnings came up. i have an airbag, and im not sure about the traction control, any ideas?

it did the same thing to me when i put a calais one in mine, but just the air bag light come on and beeps everytime i start the car, so far iv just pulled the globe out so the lights off but id like to no how to fix it properly to.

ill have to go see holden tomorrow, it is safe to drive then im assuming, so the airbag doesnt go off or anything?

Yeah, the airbag is not functioning when the light is on, so just take it easy. I just had mine reset at my mechanics for free while he was changing the gearbox. I can't believe that some places charge $100 for a 2 minute job.

100$ damn that is expensive for 2 mins. when you say take it easy, do you mean driving wise?

yeah, just don't crash coz it would suck without airbags. that's about it.

hey guys well the answer to your question is that the level 3 cluster will always do this as your air bag setup is different to most berlina ,calais most spacs exec only have drivers airbag and the dash is setup for most probably 2 or 3 airbags so to fix this you will need it put on a tech 2 to have the airbag configuration change. The air bags wont go off as the system thinks there is a air malfunction and wont deploy. now with the traction control does your car have it or not as that could be also a problem do you also have abs or non abs vt ,also another thing you have to make shaugh you get is that the numbers on top of the dash are the same as you level 1 dash or configuration will be out like the speedo will be out by 15 klms when you are sitting at 100 klms but they all can be setup to suit your car so the bad news is that you will have to go to some1 with a tech 2 to get the air bag config change ,speedo fixed if it out and anything else that need to be changed sorry to be the one to deliver bad news .

i just changed from a standard vr lvl2 dash to a lvl3 vn calais dash and i just had to change the wires around with the back pins because i changed down models, but dont think there is anything that makes your speedo out by having the wrong wires on?
