Location of Knock Sensor? - VT

Where is the Knock sensor located on the Ecotec V6 VT Engine.
anyone that could shed some light on the subject thanks

They are at the base of the block behind the engine mounts

With my VT there are 2 knock sensors. One on either side of the engine. They will be located just off to the side of the sump (when under the car). They will have a heat shield over them and a purple and black (i think) wires coming from them.

FYI mine have a white with red stripe wire coming out of them

Got a quote from my mechanic $150 to supply and fit.. better than $170 from repco . lol
hope my mechanics price is for both sensors
