Question is a bit cryptic? Calais seats just have more electric adjustments, as long as there is power available to them that's all they need. Does the exec passenger seat have any electric adjustments? If not, the exec might be missing part of the wiring loom required.

Pretty sure the Calais all have side airbags in the seat. You could just not plug them in in an exec, but also might be then worth considering removing them.

i think your right on that one but dont all vx have side airbags in the seats any way ?? so it should just a matter of plugging it in.
the electric seat controls wont have anywhere to plug into, thats where you have to get creative & start replacing parts of the wiring loom etc to make them work

I don't think all VXs do have side airbags.

But the exec does have some electric driver's adjustments doesn't it? That might be good to go with respect to the loom.

all you can do really is have a good look at your fusebox, pull bits out & check your wiring looms near your seats. you may find blank holes in your fusebox for relays to go into & plugs that go nowhere that match up near your seats.

There's no BCM involvement with the seats, unless you're trying to fit the Caprice memory seats.

    I'd think so.

Even better, here's the wiring diagram for you:
