Basically I need to remove a hinge so I can fit a box in my boot, but it seems the nuts are spot welded to the plate. Are the bolts removable or are they part of the parcel tray? Or can the pins be removed easily?

The hinges are retained by four bolts, removed from above the parcel shelf. I haven't done this job and the manual I have is a bit vague, but it looks like you have to remove the boot lid, gas struts, rear seat and parcel shelf trim before removing the four bolts per hinge.
Yeah my Gregories only tells you how to remove the boot lid by the 4 bolts on each end of the hinges, so leaving the hinges still attached to the vehicle. I will be trying to get to them from the parcel tray, unfortunately bolts are underneath dynamat, dammit.
