need help with ecu

i need help with my ecu r they a plug-in or do u have to get them reprogrammed to suit the car i got told that my immobilizer is not recognizing my ecu is this true,

any help would be greatly appreciated

ECU and BCM must be linked with a tech2 or similar

if you have put a new ecu in it wont run the memcal inside the ecu its the blue thing put that in your old ecu and plug it in
