Pacemaker extractors

Hey ive got a v6 vt executive 2 (auto trans).
Currently got a redback 2.5 inch sports exhaust with a k & n pod filter.
Getting a set of pacemaker extractors installed for $550.

Is this worth it and whats the positives of it.

the positive is increase in power (may be small but an increase anyway) and it gives it a better note and for 550, that seem pretty good
