hey guys i bought a 2002 vx acclaim about 5 months ago. its got 190.000k's on it been serviced every 10,000k's my misses dad came and looked over it when i bought it he has been a machanic all his life he said its good to to buy then i was driving the other day and could hear a knocking noise when the revs are around 2000rpm its the same when its cold and at normal temp it starts fine idles fine ect. been to a few work shops they reckon bearings or piston slap they have worked out its coming from the passenger side rear of the motor. has anyone heard of this noise before?
