Cool 2001 Calais with HSV VZ Senator front end conversion...

what are your thoughts on this Calais? i personally love it!! i think it looks great even though the front is more "squared off" but i think it has some flow to it...i might even do the same with mine. i really like it!! say with the monaro bonnet, 20inch wheels and the bob-tail spoiler....i reckon that'd be the shizz!!!

    what cha reckon?

Some larger side skirts to even out the front and rear bumpers and if the vx rear lights were darker to tie in with the front lights which must be hsv, it would look better.

I like the front end, (might just be cause I like VY/VZ Senators) but when you see the rear end it sort of lets the whole thing down a bt...
I rekon it needs the square angular corners of the VY/VZ rear end to pull it off properly, but then you're left with a mocka VY Senator

Out of all the front ends on Commodores, IMO Senator's are number 1

Do what ever you like the look of, it's going to be parked in your driveway - you have to look at it the most!

Sorry but IMHO the front and the rear don't seem to go together.
Maybe it should have been fitted the VX senator front, at least it would have looked like a Senator even if its not.
At the moment it just looks like a commodore with a body kit, its even lost its classy Calais identity.

Personally, i only like the HSV VY front ends on HSV VY's. That is all, anything else looks out of place.

But still is a clean conversion and guess you gotta appreciate the work that's gone into it.
