    Default possibly sell the vt?

    hey guys,

i will put this up in the 'cars for sale' section if i make up my mind, but...

being only 17 and on a crappy casual wage, i am finding it extremely difficult to keep hold of my vt, as well as pay off the debt im in, as well as petrol and insurance etc etc

in that case, i have been thinking recently to sell my vt s1 s pack?

anyway, how much do you think i would get for it?

for a roadworthy (only got in april or so, and being a learner i havent driven more than 1,000ks with the new stuff) i got a new windscreen, 4 new tyres on my 17 clubsport wheels, new engine mounts, new handbrake cable, brake light on the spoiler fixed, new steering rack, new standard exhaust with new chrome tip and completely cleaned up the car

she has just passed the 200,000 (approx 207,000), has an aftermarket stereo and 6's in the doors but apart from that, it is completely standard inside

is it worth it? how much am i looking for?

any help would be greatly appreciated

    cheers

2-3k if your lucky, sadly they have no value anymore, the fact you have replaced alot of stuff may help in the sales pitch but doesnt help the price, still worth bugger all

do you think its worth selling, or trying - somehow - to stick with it?

it also would come with 12 months rego as of september and new monroe shocks in new strut towers in the front

    cheers

honestly the fact is you have spent so much on it to get it in a decent condition. now you may never have to touch it again for awhile. you know its going to be reliable, you know its all legit & road legal so why sell it. you should get your money back,if not a bit more but then what? have a bit of cash in your pocket for awhile until you need to buy another car which you then may have to spend more money on to get it how you want & for whatever repairs may be needed. so in the end you become no better off than before you sold the commodore & that really doesnt make any sense. so keep the car,try to cut costs in other ways & stick with it. this is your best option thats not going to cause you headaches or heartaches

yeah i should hold onto it, but i thought if i could just get out of debt by selling it, i could start again, stop stressing about money while going through year 12

    worth an ask anyway
