door stuck
hi all,yes my door is locked shut,drivers side rear its not getting power we think (makes no noise when unlocking) wondering if anyone has any ideas how i can get it open ,thought about disconnecting battery and hopeing it willreset itself all ideas would be great thanks oh yeah vx equipe wagon power windows still work

ok,when you take the strip off,if you look down inside your door you will see a black plastic object with a plug going into it,thats the lock actuator. in front of that towards the rear of the door is your door lock mech.there will be a little plastic rod coming out of the actuator,this locks & unlocks the door. if you disengage this rod from your door lock mechanism( the door lock mech will have levers attached to it that open/close & lock/unlock the door). with the rod disengaged you will be able to unlock the door manually. sometimes you can get away with not doing this & just hook the lock/unlock lever then bobs your uncle,open sesame. this is a basic how to,unfortunately i find some things easier to do than explain unless its sitting in front of me,lol. but this should be enough for you to get the gist of it & know what to look for
all unlocked now wd 40 the actuator and electrical contact sprayed the plug seems to be working now
