i have to change the globes in the tail lights ,i have removed the 2 screws that hold it in ,but the 2 pins are very tight, i dont want to force it, but how do thay come off
simple dude. the corner where the 2 screws are bang it with the palm of your hand on the edge of the lense. bang it towards whatever side of the car the light is on. ie left hand bang it left & towards the front of the car a little etc. you may beak the little plastic lugs that go into the body of the car but that happens due to age & can be bought for 1 buck from holden.![]()
theyr held in by two clips as mentioned above, just wack it (as if your pushing the lights away from the car) and they will release![]()
The plastic gromets the two metal pins fit into will break well before the pins themselves will break.
Get a plastic school ruler and slide it in behind the light closest to the two pins/lugs, then apply force to the screw side of the lights outwards and forwards, like the others said.
I haven't lost my mind, it's backed up on tape somewhere
