What diff gears to get?

Hey guys,
I have a 5speed Vt V6, and i was wondering what diff gears i should look to upgrade to.
Is 3.9 too much in a manual?
Also, what's the cost involved in swapping over gears?
And is the difference noticeable?

hi dude ive got the same problem, what ratio u running atm? (if u havnt upgraded yet)

standard v6 manual ratio is 3.08

depends on what sort of fuel economy you will be happy with and the use of the car, lots of highway miles etc.

As above it depends on how much highway driving you do. With 3.9:1 it will sit on about 2600rpm at 100km/h. If you do alot of highway driving 3.45 are a good compromise betweeen power and economy.
