Another Unusual Rattle (and Vibration) on VT Sedan

Hi guys,

me VT just has an unusual rattle after the steering rack, link pins changed...

the rattle came from somewhere on the front passenger side, sound like.. something rattling in the glove box or inside the dash pad, i check everywhere but nothing.. ??

few thing i've noticed, the rattle only happen while car was idling. while the car idling and i turn the steering wheel, i can feel the vibration thru the wheel, only happen when car idling and only in Drive gear. if i put it in Park or Neutral, it didn't cause any noise, rattle or vibration tho..

any suggestion guys?

have a look at ur mudflaps... had similar once went to the extent of pullin half the dash apart lookin for it - eneded up bein the inner screw holding the mudflap on missing - and whilst driving was rattling etc...

nope, not the mud flaps cause i took them off already

so, went to see local mechanic today and he reckoned it could be engine mounts too... but he need the car on the hoist to look at it properly. might have to go back there again next week
