Help- How to install new exhaust in VT SS?

I'm just wondering if its easy to take out the standard exhaust system (from cats back) and replace with a better one, My mate brought a 2.5in sports exhaust with all the jazz and is looking to upgrade his.
I just wanted to know if it would be easy to pull my old one out and put the new one in?

yes it is easy all you need is some jack stands or ramps an a spanner(cant remember what size) an a flat head screwdriver to undo the clips that hold on the rubber mounts took me about half an hour with a mate 1st time doing it but i had access to a pit .This was on a vx ss but i cant see it being any different.

I got under it and had a look today, job looks real easy

well i did mine on my V6 and was not that hard, guess it would just take twice as long lol, use a car jack to also support the weight of it while removing it. just 2 bolts at the cat, then remove the clips and the rubber mounts. fitting it requires bit more balance and care.
