Default Help with changing lifters in VX V6

    Hi,
I wanted to know if anyone had a detailed description as a guide to changing over the lifters in the Ecotec V6 with some pics would be even better.
I have heard mixed things in regards to replacing the cam if i replace the lifters with standard lifters do i still need to replace the cam.
I really don't want to have to replace the cam so if there is a way around it i would like to know.
And from what i can see the lifters are the same from the VN-VY s1 6's is this right ?
    Thanks

    get a service manual.

they usually have detailed descriptions of full engine pull downs.

Agree with service manual. I did mine not too long ago, its not too hard but takes a bit of time, just ensure you have all the parts and tools before you start.
