I have a VT 5Litre 5 speed. I've come to discover the previous owner has had it "tuned" (lack of better word) previously..he reckons it had a miss so he cut a wire to the computer. It continues to log the same error codes, both oxygen sensors, cam sensor and a mass air sensor. The 2 oxygen sensors have been wired together and are producing the exact same results on a live scan...(pretty sure one should be a bit leaner than the other not the same?) Also was told it may be a VS 5L motor, and may have changed it to group injection instead of sequential injection (dont even know if thats possible on this motor?).

The car runs great no misfire and is strong under load.... anyway just wanna know if anybody has any idea what wire could be cut to the computer, and why would they do it just because of a misfire?
