    Default Fuel consumption issues

    to anyone

    i have a 99 vt i easily get 800 plus km out of a tank i was towing a trailer and now my trip commputer is playing up. Its not reading the correct km left and i have to disconect the battery for it to read true and it will chew through the fuel like im still towing if i dont disconect the battery. has anyone had this problem and if so could u pls let me know how it can be fixed

    i'd be checking fault codes. seeing if anything else is out of whack.
    see a mechanic with tech2 or similar to see if they can give you any better feedback..

    try getting some new sensors (knock,oxygen)they have alot to do with how much fuel goes in the engine they could be on there way out anyway fixed mine with low ks?maybe low quality fuel (knock sensor)?

    thanks for the info fellas will get that checked its bout the only thing i havnt replaced or got checked as yet cheers
