hey guys my mrs vt is shocking on gas i put 70liters and im lucky if she get 200kms out the tank is there somthing wrong or whats the go do i go 2 a gas place get them 2 look into it

Wherever you go make sure it's an LPG installer, not just a standard grease monkey. It could be running too rich, have bad leads, or some other issue. Get it checked out.

On my VT supercharged i used to get 13.3L/100km highway and mid-20's if all city driving. I recently upgraded it to Vapour Injection and now get around 12.2L/100km highway, dunno about the city figures yet. Obviously if i only had a V6 Ecotec these figures would be slightly lower, or a V8 they'd be higher.

For the V6 models - here is a % comparison of "normal" LPG usage over petrol:
Old-school LPG mixer = 30-35% more than petrol (what i've found on my VL RB30 n/a, VR V6 then VT V6 s/c)
Vapour Injection = 20-25% more than petrol (what i find on mt VT V6 s/c since upgrade)
Liquid Injection = 10-15% more than petrol (i've been told only 5% is sales bulls--t)

I'm not sure if these percentages would apply to the V8's, but your figure sounds way too high.

I get 350 km's out of 60 litres approx. LS1 mafless tune vapour injection. gota love gas cheers Brian
