you just have to scrape off all the green shit off the dial,or buy an aftermarket one off eBay and scrape it off,EASY!
And it does look good, coz you can change the colour any time you want.

Hey there guy dash lights are t5 wedge but u will find that when u plug them in they actually flare the the plastic seat for them and makes it hard to get back in so i filled my down a bit to get them in and the trip light are t4 neo wedge globe ,jaycar do have them that where i get myn but they dont have neo wedge do i use the excisting blobe base and cut the t5 wedge down to get the into the globe base try and do one and attach a photo.

Cheers guys, yeh I emailed Len from EziHID and he said to contact phreddy aswell but its been 2 months and they have yet to get back to me...just sick of looking around and getting know where. Thanks heaps guys for suggestions and sounds easy to strip the green off the back of the dials but now just have to look for globes and no I don't want cheap. Does the old green bulb just come out and you sit the new blue 1 in? Does the wire wrapped around the black seat stay there?

The globes just pull out(might be hard depending on age),if you're replacing them with LED's you put them in one way and if it doesn't work simply turn it around. All wires stay there, except for the one LCD screen bulb on the bottom of the cluster.

Yes actually!! When im only just learning about cars. I reckon people should appreciate girls learning automotive aspects. Y do you think I was asking, obviously I didnt know. The other guy told me the wrong thing didnt he so well I'm not the only 1. Well theres no point in getting the globes if theres still green on the backing of the dials...just tried scraping them off and it bloody scratched through...is there another way to get the green backing off? All i want to do is have a straight blue through the dials. People are telling me things but aint workin.

The correct size for the rear lights is a T10 Wedge Bulb, if at first they dont work reverse them as they only will work one way.Click the link in my signature there are some pictures of what my conversion looks like in my VN. Its fairly straight forward, but its not the best meathod.

There's no need to scratch the green off the back. The blue goes straight through it.

What wrx is trying to say, is that it will look 100x better having it done professionally by ASR audio forum sponsors.

Also wen scraping the green off if u got an orginal facia theres NO WAY it can scratch through, unless ur doing the heater control units facia thats a different story again. do u have an aftermarket dial facia? If u dont scrape this green paint off u'll always have a green tinge 2 the blue colour and wen u go 2 do the rest of ur switches ect... it'll look outer place and not look the same colour blue.

They r also T5 wedge globes that r use not T10.
